Goose hunting is best after Nov. 1, with a peak migration of the large Canadians very weather-related.

One thing I have learned in ten years of guiding is that all hunting is weather-related and much more so with waterfowl.  Every year is different!

I believe the future of hunting is in operations like ours. The game must be cared for year around with food and habitat. Bad winters will come again and care will save the birds. The food plots saved the birds last winter so we are planning more of them, along with four more acres of trees.

Thank you for considering Dakota Wild Bird Hunts, Inc., for your personal get-away this fall.
